When Stars Will Shine; a collection of short stories, compiled by Emma Mitchell was published on 29 November 2019; all proceeds are going directly to the Help For Heroes charity.
I bought a paperback copy just before Christmas and have spent the last few weeks dipping in and out of this superb collection.
Whilst, this is marketed as a 'Christmas' collection, these stories really are a great read at any time of the year.
There are stories from well-established authors and some from lesser known writers who are just starting out on their journey.
As with any collection of stories, there are some that I enjoyed more than others, but there were none that I didn't like at all. The compilation is expertly presented, with a gorgeous cover image from Amanda at Let's Get Booked, edited by the one and only Emma Mitchell from Creating Perfection and proof read by Kate at Noble Owl Proofreading.
If you love a short story, and also want to support Help For Heroes, I'd certainly recommend that you treat yourself to a copy of When Stars Will Shine.
