Anne Cater is the Queen Bee of British book bloggers, and if she agrees to arrange your blog tour you know she’ll create a resounding buzz for your book. So far she’s organised three of mine, and they were run with efficiency, flair and sensitivity to the book’s subject. Anne Cater ran a blog tour for the paperback release of my biography of Lee Child, and I loved every minute of it. I was impressed by her energy and reach, and her unstinting dedication in helping my book find a new and wider readership. Anne is a joy to work with, and I can’t wait to do so again

I'm very pleased with the blog tour organised through Random Things through My Letterbox. The tour itself was professionally run, and I'm certain it helped the book to find an audience in the UK. The posts, reviews and interviews were themselves detailed, professional, conscientious and very well done. I would highly recommend Random Things to anyone who's looking for a blog tour. Thank you Anne!

This is the second blog tour Anne has organised for me and I couldn’t be more impressed. Her professionalism is second to none, and her reach to an enormous number of experienced bloggers is quite simply astonishing - the engagement has been incredible! Anne also matches the most suitable people with the author’s genre, so both reader and author are happy. Every email I’ve sent has always been replied to quickly and with enthusiasm for the tour ahead, and I have to add here that it’s not just Anne’s tour organising skills that are first rate. She generously gave me specialist advice with regards to knowledge of a specific area and organisation in my thriller series, for which I am most grateful. I will always choose Anne and Random Things Tours for my book tour promotion.
Ali Carter – Author of the DCI Harry Longbridge series

Random Things Tours gave a brilliant launch to my novel: insightful reviews, excerpts and an interview session, with some posts including lovely images of the book.
Self-publishing a debut novel is nerve-racking and the blog tour was a big confidence boost.
Thanks to Anne Cater of Random Things Through My Letterbox for your well-organised and friendly professionalism.
Sally Keeble - Author of She,You,I

If you’ve never done a blog tour before, you’re probably as apprehensive as I was when I first contacted Anne. I’d been ill prior to my book release which delayed everything, including the organisation of the tour, and that only heightened my concerns that we didn’t have enough time, I had no idea what I was doing, not many bloggers would sign up for an unknown author like me, and there might be negative reviews.

I needn’t have worried a jot and if you’re a first-timer like me, I would highly, highly recommend reaching out to Anne. The lady is an absolute marvel!

Coordinating everything like the conductor of a finely tuned orchestra, Anne made the whole process so easy, all my concerns evaporated. With little time to spare, she generated a buzz for my book which prompted a phenomenal response with dozens and dozens of bloggers signing up for the tour. Being so well-connected, Anne selected just the right readers for my book who were all so professional, producing gorgeous images of my book and posting effusive, beautifully-written and thoughtful reviews on their blogs, Instagram and Twitter. Anne also created a stunning ad poster to promote the tour and went on to retweet, regram, and thank every blogger individually for their time. The whole experience was an absolute joy.

I was hoping for a buzz and to garner reviews on Amazon and Goodreads, which the tour certainly did, but something else came out of it that I wasn’t expecting: it boosted my confidence in the book (and I know most of us authors need that in spades) and took away all my new-release nerves. You can’t put a price on that.

Thank you Anne!

Carrie Magillen, author of The Sharif Thrillers

Anne managed the blog tour for my new release THE LOST BOY with efficiency and an infectious "can do" approach. I have no hesitation in recommending her services.

Rachel Amphlett, author of the Kay Hunter series

I can highly recommend Anne. This was my first experience of a blog tour, and she kept me updated at every stage of the process, so I knew exactly what to expect, and when. It was very reassuring, and allowed me to focus on other aspects of marketing and promotion for my new book, knowing that I was in safe hands.

Tracey Norman, author of Who Is Anna Stenberg?

With the publication of my first novel, ‘He is Not Worthy’ I decided to try a book blog tour.  I hadn’t even heard of this before, but I am extremely glad I have now.

Anne organised the bloggers to read my book, I was given the date they would be reviewing, a wonderful marketing image to share on my Instagram and other social media and the dates were set.

It was with some excitement and trepidation that I waited to read the comments from the bloggers.  I had some amazing feedback - useful comments, amusing comments and even some conversation between myself and the bloggers which I really appreciated.  All of the people involved took their time to review the book seriously, and even if it wasn’t quite their style, they gave me comments that were helpful.

I will definitely be approaching Anne when I publish future books, and would also recommend her to any other authors out there.
Lis McDermott, author of He Is Not Worthy

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Anne Cater to organise a book tour.  I am an indie author so really didn't have a clue how to go about arranging one.  From my very first enquiry email she was absolutely brilliant.  Her service is second to none, and my book got some wonderful reviews.  I will definitely be asking her to arrange another tour for my next book.
Sherry Hostler, author of Hypnotic

From my opening communication with Anne Cater, right through to the final day of my Blog Tour, I felt supported and greatly encouraged by the professionalism of Anne and her team of bloggers. The level of detail and regular communication Anne sent me assured me I had made a great choice for my new book’s Blog Tour, and I was delighted with both the reviews and social media coverage from all the bloggers involved.

I can heartily recommend Anne and her Blog Tours and I will be back again once my next book is ready for release.”

Alyson Sheldrake, author of the Algarve Dream Series and Travel Stories Series of books.

Working with Anne and Random Things Tours was a delight from start to finish. She's so well connected, and I really appreciated how thoughtfully she connected me with nonfiction book bloggers whose interests were tailored to my topic. Anne handled everything so efficiently -- from the graphics to the organizational parts -- leaving me to focus on my writing, which is just what I wanted. I loved how her reach extended to social as well, and the whole tour went off without a hitch. I received some lovely reviews, and got to connect with a wider audience. Five stars!

Zara Stone, author of Killer Looks

Anne Cater's blog tour came at the perfect time for me. I'd just published my debut novel and needed to reach new readers. The five reviewers Anne chose were diverse in many ways, but united in their enthusiasm and willingness to read something a little different. They gave my book reviews that were positive and also - more importantly - insightful. It was wonderful to connect with such thoughtful readers, and to get that priceless marketing boost, too, and Anne was responsive and professional at every step. Definitely worth the money!
Elizabeth Loudon, author of  A Stranger in Baghdad

Random Things Tours organised a book tour for me in June 2022. I was delighted with both the process and the outcome. Anne was easy to contact and work with, prompt to respond to any queries, and her charge was very reasonable. The bloggers she chose were just right for my book and produced positive and thoughtful responses. I'm delighted with the outcome and I'll be back!
Phill Featherstone, author of  I Know What You're Thinking

Random Things Tour did a tip top job of getting my novel out to bloggers.

They chased up some of the slow coaches, and ensured that I got good coverage.

I highly recommend them.

Rosie Parker, author Only Hummingbirds Fly Backwards

I would like to thank Anne at Random Things Tours for holding such a lovely book tour for my debut novel, Juno and the Lady. It was so important that I got my book into the right readers hands and Anne did this beautifully. I have three more books coming out this year and as soon as they are ready, I will be contacting Anne.

Thank you, Anne, and I am really looking forward to working with you again.

G J Kemp, author of Juno and the Lady

I'm delighted to have been referred to Anne Cater for the blog tour of my debut novel. She was personable, organized, and had great communication, and with her help, my book traveled around the world.

I look forward to working with her again in the future.

Lauren Kristen Roberts, author of Gemini Divided

Thanks so much for organising Rupert’s blog tour Anne, you matched the bloggers up with my book superbly. All the reviews were so detailed accompanied by lovely pictures of my book, which the bloggers posted across the whole of Social Media. These reviews will play a key role in my ongoing marketing campaign, and an important part of my toolkit for when I do my next book in the series.
If you're a newly published author I would definitely consider one of Anne's Book Blog tours, you will see your book in a new inspiring way, and gain some invaluable feedback too.
Helen Morrish, author of  The Tail of Mum, Dad and a dog called Rupert

I cannot recommend Anne Cater's Random Things book blog tours highly enough.  The tour she organised for my debut novel 'A Death in Custody' was efficiently and professionally planned and executed.  The bloggers she chose to take part in it were excellent.  They all had different takes on my book, but all their reviews were well-written, intelligent and interesting. Anne's charges were extremely modest and the tour was exceptionally good value for money.  Above all, it brought my book to the attention of readers whom it would not otherwise have reached and gave it a real chance of being noticed in a very crowded market.

Tim Clayton, author of A Death in Custody

As someone who is not a well known writer (yet!) I came to Anne knowing very little about book blog tours, except that I needed to do one, and that she sounded like a good person to approach. I’m so pleased that I did.  To be honest, I was a little nervous about the whole event, and spent far too much time worrying about what could go wrong – the main one, of course, being that everyone would hate my book. But in response to all my doubts and questions Anne remained  calm, reassuring, so obviously organised and in control that I gradually settled to doing what she recommended – leaving it all to her. Together with her team of bloggers she made the whole event enjoyable and very successful. Thanks, Anne.
Jan Mazzoni, author of The Snow Fox Diaries

Anne was a total pleasure to work with - communicative, resourceful, dependable and wise. I highly recommend her!
Lesley Bannatyne, author of Unaccustomed to Grace

Anne was great to work with - the blog tour was organised very efficiently and seamlessly, and I got lots of great reviews for my book from enthusiastic bloggers which was lovely. It was so nice to have it all taken care of for me.
Louise Chapman, author of Into The Lake

Back in 2013, when Nearest Thing to Crazy was first published by Cutting Edge Press, a lady called Anne Cater wrote a mind-blowingly wonderful review, which started a bit of a chain reaction amongst the book blogging community who, thanks to her, noticed and reviewed the book. We quickly realized, as if we hadn’t before, what an influential lady she was back then, and we credit Anne with playing a massive part in the success of the book. It spent several weeks in the top 5 of Amazon UK’s psychological charts, was featured in the Mail online and also on Radio 4 Woman’s Hour. I call it the ‘Anne Effect.’

Fast forward to 2021 when I republished the book independently, I never dreamed that it would be acceptable for one of Anne’s blog tours; and so when she suggested it I was over the moon. From the outset, Anne puts care into selecting the right people for the book from her vast pool of dedicated bloggers, prepares a brilliant publicity poster and then makes sure the book is in their hands well in time for review before the tour even starts. She shouts about the tour on social media before lift-off, and then every day during the tour she promotes the individual reviews, re-tweeting and posting and carefully selecting tag lines to draw even more attention.

I have enjoyed a blissful fourteen day tour in her expert hands. I honestly don’t know where she finds the time or energy, but she does. The exposure has been huge, the bloggers couldn’t have been more generous and professional, sharing their reviews between Instagram, Goodreads, Twitter and Facebook. I couldn’t be more grateful to her for giving the book a second chance. She is equally supportive to small independently published authors as she is to the ‘big names’. If anyone is lucky enough to be given the opportunity to take part in one of Anne’s tours, grab it with both hands! I can’t wait for the next one.
Elizabeth Forbes, author of Nearest Thing To Crazy

I did plenty of research with regards blog tours, the best way to spread the word with regards my book etc. and all roads led to Anne.
She has a huge network of bloggers and reviewers, understands your book, its genre and who it will appeal to. The organisation is then seamless and easy with great communication.
I would recommend to any author, if they are looking for a comprehensive and worthwhile book tour, to look no further than Anne. A pleasure to work with.’
Roger Wilson-Crane, Author of Certified

Launching my debut during a global pandemic was challenging but Anne Cater and her fabulous network of bloggers remained positive and enthusiastic about ‘The Life We Almost Had’ and somehow, despite everything going on in the world, managed to create such a buzz online. Anne arranged everything, from the tour dates, to the graphics and distribution of books to her team, ensuring everyone posted their review on time. I’m so grateful for the service I received and can’t recommend Anne highly enough.

Amelia Henley, author of The Life We Almost Had (HQ Publisher)

I chose Random Things Tours, organised by the very capable Anne Cater, because I had heard wonderful things about the service from other writers. I wasn’t disappointed. I wanted to raise the profile of my new crime series launch, Preacher Boy, and to get some seed reviews on social media and critical sites such as Amazon and Goodreads. The whole experience was smoothly organised and executed and I was delighted with the response from book bloggers.
Gwyn GB, author of Preacher Boy

The blog tour that Anne arranged for my debut novel (Still Crazy… SilverWood, 2020) was outstandingly well-organised and executed. She was clear in what I needed to provide her with and communicated in a friendly manner throughout. The bloggers she selected for the tour were entirely appropriate, with literally thousands of their followers now in possession of information about my novel along with positive reviews. I fully recommend Anne and ‘Random Things Tours’.
RNF Skinner, author of Still Crazy

Anne's services came highly recommended from ALLi and I'm thrilled that I went with her. Everything was coherently explained to me after my initial (clueless) enquiry, and from there it was all plain sailing. As a self-published writer, it was refreshing that so many reviewers were keen to read my work. Anne produced an eye-catching tour poster and everything fell in with the pre-agreed dates. I found the whole experience positive and plan to use Anne's services again in the future
Angie Annetts, author of Nudey Beach

Anne has been a complete joy to work with. My experience with Anne has been delightful from start to finish. This was my first experience with a blog tour. Having been new to the experience, I had many. questions. Anne was always quick in responding and extremely helpful in guiding me through the process. She was enthusiastic, kind, and professional. She chose a wonderful group of bloggers that were well suited for my book. I look forward to working with Anne again in the future.

Rylee Ridolfi, Author of Christmas Under Construction

As a self-published debut author without any industry contacts, I was looking for a simple, cost-effective way to raise the profile of my book and get some feedback from reviewers. Anne at Random Thing Tours used her network to secure book reviews with ten prolific book bloggers who shared their honest reviews on social media. The blog tour was a valuable experience and I was really pleased with Anne’s service. She was professional, organised and is clearly passionate about supporting both new and established authors. Recommended!

Philip Parrish, Author of Game Of Life

I was lucky enough to enlist the help of Anne on my first ever blog tour for my fifth book, A Song Unsung. She was an absolute joy to work with from start to finish - professional, approachable, thorough, and highly efficient, securing the appropriate bloggers for the novel's genre. The 12-day tour she organised was a huge success and it was great fun to wake up to a new and glowing review every morning. I can't wait to work with Anne again and cannot recommend her services enough.

Fiona Cane, author of A Song Unsung

I could not have been more thrilled by the blog tour arranged by Anne. The quality of the reviews and the creativity of the accompanying social media were fantastic. For a first-time novelist to receive such enthusiastic and kind support has been overwhelming.  If you are lucky enough to have the chance to work with Anne, you should bite her hand off. (Well, not literally!)

Adam Leigh, author of  The Curious Rise of Alex Lazarus

Being part of a Random Things Blog Tour has provided me, not only with a portfolio of in-depth and informative reviews, but opened up a network of new fans and readers. I would highly recommend

Anne Cater has organised a number of blog tours for me, and has done a superb job on each occasion. The attention to detail in setting up a tour is second to none, and I would have no hesitation in recommending Random Things Tours to any author.

Rachel Abbott, best-selling author of the Tom Douglas novels

I highly recommend Anne Cater of "Random Things Through My Letterbox" for organising book blog tours.
I approached her as an indie author and she was extremely welcoming and professional, assigning bloggers, creating a poster and organising the whole tour from beginning to end. She also fully supported throughout by retweeting reviews on social media. Whenever I have emailed she's responded promptly. The whole event went brilliantly without problems.

Thank you Anne and all your wonderful bloggers
Rachel Coverdale, author of The Boy Who Couldn't

My first experience of a Blog Tour couldn’t have been smoother, thanks to Random Tours and Anne Cater. It’s been such a pleasure working with Anne – so professional, approachable and communicative at every point. I’d recommend Random Tours very highly, whether you’re new to Blog Tours like me, or an old hand.
Kay Powell, author of Then a Wind Blew

As a novice to book marketing from the southernmost tip of Africa, I approached Anne Cater of Random Things Tours to help me wrangle a bit of buzz about my debut adult novel, The Wilderness Between Us with the trepidation of a young cub asking the matriarch of a pride of lions to teach her to hunt. Anne reassured me, communicated professionally and yet warmly, and ran my blog tour efficiently, energetically, and highly effectively. It was a great relief to be in such safe hands and to see bloggers, reviewers and readers across the world engage with my book. She’s an excellent person to have in your pride team.

Penny Haw — author of The Wilderness Between Us (Köehler Books US)

Having seen the great work that Random Things Tours has done helping other writers, I was keen to work with them for the release of my own book. I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. Despite not doing much work in my genre, Anne was able to help with her extensive network of bloggers. I reached a bunch of new readers and got some excellent exposure. Will definitely be using this service again
Richie Billing, author of The Pariah's Lament

RandomThingsTours provided me with a fantastic service and helped me reach an informed and influential audience I could never have reached on my own. Anne run the programme with brilliant professionalism and efficiency. I would recommend this service to any author
Giles Fraser, author of Let's Fly

Anne is a highly professional, attentive, and well connected tour organizer. All the tour hosts were good fits for my book. My only job was to sit back, dab away the tears, and thank reviewers for their kind words. I recommend Anne’s Random Things Blog Tours and will be back with my next book.
Michael F Stewart, author of The Momentous Expiration of Tremmy Sinclair

Like an experienced orchestra conductor, Anne arranged and organised the tour for my book.  She provided support, advice, guidance and throughout the whole process she made it stress free and more importantly FUN!

I am looking forward working with Anne again in the near future and I would wholeheartedly recommend Anne's services to any of my fellow authors."
James Quinn, Author of the Redaction Chronicles

Anne organized a blog tour for the U.K. publication of my novel Coyote Fork. She was a pleasure to deal with – always prompt, professional and efficient – and did a fantastic job of finding a wide range of bloggers able to engage seriously and intelligently with the book. I really cannot recommend her too highly, both to publishers and to fellow-authors – and I very much look forward to working with her again

James Wilson, Author of Coyote Fork

The thing about finishing a blog tour with Anne is you can’t wait to start the next one.  Anne couldn’t have worked any harder in lining up bloggers, providing clear distribution info and deadlines, and promoting and sharing reviews.  She kept the show on the road throughout.  I don’t know where she finds the energy.

As an indie author, I wasn’t even sure at first she'd take on my novel, Don't Ask, but I guarantee I received the same support and care from Anne as if she was organising a blog tour for an international best-selling author.

As for the bloggers themselves, there’s obvious quality control apparent there too.  Astute, insightful and, no doubt thanks to Anne’s reminders, always on time!

A wonderful experience - and highly valuable book exposure - from start to finish.
Paul Carroll, Author of Don't Ask

Anne provided an excellent service in creating an impactful book tour for my new book Art of Creativity. I was delighted with the coverage, the reviews and the coordination of the tour.

Susie Pearl
Author and podcaster on creativity and wellness.

It has been a great pleasure working with Anne on the bloggers’ tour for The Three Locks, the fourth in Bonnie MacBird's Sherlock Holmes adventure series, published by Collins Crime Club. Anne assembled a team of enthusiastic readers some of whom were already fans of Sherlock Holmes, others new to the genre. Each brought something new to the table with their generous and thoughtful reviews. I will definitely be working with Anne again in the future and would unreservedly recommend her services to others looking to work with the book blogging community.

I’m a début writer, and without any prior knowledge of the book world, the idea of a blog tour was a little terrifying to be honest! I needn’t have worried – Anne was amazingly friendly and welcoming, super-organised and efficient all the way through. Her love of books and desire to help authors shines through, as does her incredible knowledge of the publishing world. Thank you so much Anne – I can’t wait to work with you on my next book!

Anne Cater is a organizational wizard of many (random) things, especially of bringing creative people together and helping authors find their way
Elisabeth Sharpe McKetta - author of She Never Told Me About The Ocean

Random Things really helped make a noise for The Hunting Season. I was particularly impressed by the breadth and depth of reviews - for an author, launches are always nail-biting no matter whether it is your first or fifth book, so it was especially gratifying to read reviews that really seemed to understand what I was trying to achieve. Thank you, Anne!
Tom Benjamin - author of The Hunting Season

I was very pleased with the selection of bloggers and the positive reviews, and the whole process was very enjoyable from start to finish. Thank you very much, Anne!

Anne was recommended to me by my agent and I was very glad I chose her to organise an online blog tour for my first novel. Anne always responded promptly and efficiently to all queries and was very professional and organised throughout. She has a fantastic network of bloggers and the blog tour ran very smoothly. I have already recommended her services to a couple of writers and hope to work with her again when my second book comes out.

I used Anne Cater’s Random Things Blog Tours for my first book launch and I was absolutely delighted with the service she gave me. She made the whole process so easy.  She was clear about what she needed from me, and then came back to me only when the whole thing was organised. At such a busy and hectic time, her efficiency and professionalism made an enormous difference.  She linked me up with reviewers who really enjoyed my genre, and I was delighted with the reviews, interview, extract and giveaway she set up. I would definitely recommend Anne to anyone who is looking for a blog tour.

As a relative newbie on the book writing and publishing scene with only one book under my belt, I struggled to work out how to generate interest in my publication. And then I was introduced to Anne. My book is something of a hard sell; it deals with life changing disability, not necessarily an easy read. But Anne assured me that she would find five people who would engage with it and write an honest review. And by golly, she did just that. Anne included creating the flyer and the banner, putting it all out on social media and I wound up with a collection of heart-warming, sincere, well thought-out reviews. Thank you Anne!
