All The Missing Girls by Megan Miranda #BlogTour @MeganLMiranda @CorvusBooks

It's been ten years since Nicolette Farrell left her rural hometown after her best friend, Corinne, disappeared without trace. Then a letter from her father arrives - 'I need to talk to you. That girl. I saw that girl.' Has her father's dementia worsened, or has he really seen Corinne?
Returning home, Nicolette must finally face what happened on that terrible night all those years ago. Then, another young woman goes missing, almost to the day of the anniversary of when Corinne vanished. And like ten years ago, the whole town is a suspect.
Told backwards - Day 15 to Day 1 - Nicolette works to unravel the truth, revealing shocking secrets about her friends, her family, and what really happened to Corinne. Like nothing you've ever read before, All the Missing Girls is a brilliantly plotted debut thriller that will leave you breathless.

All The Missing Girls by Megan Miranda was published in paperback by Corvus on 2 February 2017.

Ten years ago, Nicolette's best friend Corinne vanished. Corinne's disappearance has formed Nic's life for the past ten years. She has avoided home, she has refused to face up to what happened.
Now, a decade later, Nic must return to her home town.  Her father is ill and when she receives a letter from him, telling her that he 'saw that girl', Nic has no choice but to return. She has has know if her father really does know something or if the dementia that has slowly taken him from her is the cause of his words.

When Nic finally reaches home, another local woman disappears. Every feeling and fear that she felt all those years ago return, but Nic is older now and it's time to uncover the truth.

All The Missing Girls is written in reverse and can be a challenging read. The author tests the reader, keeping them on the ball, slipping in seemingly unimportant facts and conversations which take on more meaning as the story progresses, or regresses, depending on how you look at it.

Only a very skilled author could pull this off, and Megan Miranda does it with ease. The plotting and telling is ambitious, the small-town setting is moody and unsettling and the characters grow, page by page.

All The Missing Girls is intriguing, slow-burning and clever. It is not an easy read by any means, it requires complete concentration, but the back-to-front storytelling contains twists and turns a plenty and will thrill fans of dark, psychological thrillers.

My thanks to the publisher who sent my copy for review.
